About Creative Tempo

Creative Tempo is an online place about beginning, then taking that step to finding your creative rhythm and balancing life to keeping it all going. Good days, not-so-good days, fast idea-flowing marathon in-the-studio days and days that you feel stuck and would rather give up.

I’m Roxanne, a wife, mom and artist living an unconventional, optimistic, hopeful, creative life.  Hi!

I launched Creative Tempo to provide a place to offer a helping hand, sound advise and encouragement to artists and creatives at all stages of your career.  What follows is a little about me:

Behind the Scenes

Sketches, Doodles and Painting
I paint in acrylic and encaustics.  My first professional work focused on portraits, wine labels and illustrations before moving into abstracts.

Work or Play? Even when I wasn’t creating for a living, creative fire directed my moves and philosophy on life, even when I didn’t recognize it that way.  In jobs, I went for the alternatives that were interesting and provided a new experience – they didn’t always pay the most.  Through the bumps and thrills, I’ve amassed a diverse portfolio of experiences that I’ll pull from to give good stuff here on the blog.  I hope to create and share things that will inspire and give you a stepping stone on your own path.

There’s more, but this list is a sample of my background that I will be pulling from to focus in a creative way for this blog and for you.  To give value and inspiration in every post is my really cool goal to do.
