There are so many options that can help you grow your art business these days and not all of them will give you the quality nor offer you the best value. I’ve put together this list of helpful resources and recommendations to help you sort through the confusion. Those that make it on this list are ones I recommend to friends.
I’ll continue to update it here and add more links as I learn about them and try their services so I can continue to help you find what you need quickly and get you back to creating.
I often add links for sales they’re having too, so bookmark this page and share it with your friends that need to save some money or need help also.
Disclaimer: Some of the links are affiliate links. If you make a purchase through them, I many earn a commission that helps keep this site going. I don’t run ads on the site and this page helps keep it that way.
BUILD YOUR CAREER:
When I first started looking for ways to grow my artist blog into a place for artists to learn and grow their own businesses, I found Chris Guillebeau. I highly recommend checking out his site, new event: World Domination Summit and library of Unconventional Guides.
Rainmaker lets you focus on creating.
Hosting, platform building blogging, podcasting, videos, security, online tutorials, landing pages, online course hosting all in one place – one of those things that seem too good to be true, but actually IS. Pricing everything separately, the Rainmaker platform and team actually saves you headaches and money.
Dick Blick Art Materials is a go-to source when I’m in a rush for supplies. They are competitive on shipping and often have bulk purchase deals They send out coupon’s in their newsletter that can help you save a money on your art supplies.
Utrecht Art Supplies is a place for hard to find items and great for teaching supplies.
PsPrint is my go-to for most of my business printing. They’re in the San Francisco Bay area, Their quality, pricing, turnaround and job status updates are really helpful.. say like when you forget to order business cards for next weekend’s show (who does that?). The few job issues I’ve had (for example: one time, they forgot to drill a hole in a tag) They turned a complete rerun at no charge to correct the mistake. They’ve been awesome.
From greeting cards, catalogs, posters, business cards or bumper stickers… they can wipe away much of the worry and frustration of printing expenses and timing. HOT LINK>> This link gives you 15% OFF all PsPrint products!
I also love MOO.
